Our Updates:

4-10-2020

After careful consideration of the Covid-19 situation in the Chicago area, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our pilots, members, and visitors, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Windy City Warbirds & Classics event.   Chicago is one of the hot spots for COVID-19 in the US.  As such the governor of Illinois has issued a statement that as we approach the summer festival season that “organizers should think carefully about cancelling large summer events.”  We have all been looking forward to this year's event, but we feel that it is in the best interest of our members, pilots, and public attendees to keep you safe and out of harm’s way.  We will immediately start our planning for 2021, and look forward to seeing you then!

Stay safe,

Your Windy City Warbirds & Classics Committee
